the way to use loophole feature is set up cardboard or plywood barrier between you and your target 10 feet from the muzzle of your rifle (MUST BE 10 feet, not 9, not 11, 10!). Look on Table 100 Full Sheet. Loophole values given are how far over or under your line of sight the bullet will be when it passes through the barrier. find your target range and make sure that you have the listed amount of space available above or below the postion of the target as seen through the loophole.
Example, 2.5″ tall loophole, chart says -2.250 inch loophole value for 100yrd shot, this means the bullet will be 2.25″ below your line of sight (POA) when it passes through the barrier, so you need to have the loophole oriented so that the target is no more than .25″ below the very top of the loophole.
Example 2: 2.5″ loophole, chart says +.1″ loophole value for 1000yrd shot, this means the bullet will pass .1 inches above the apparent position of the crosshair in the loophole as the bullet passes through the loophole / barrier.
